Our NORD Repair Process
- Incoming inspection. We record the nameplate data and the unit’s condition when it arrives.
- Motor testing. Ground testing, surge comparison and core loss testing on the motor section.
- Teardown and inspection of the motor, brake, gears, bearings, seals and shafts.
- Written quote for repair, or for replacement when that makes more sense.
- Repair. Rewinding, brake rebuild, bearing and seal replacement, gear work and shaft machining as required.
- Final testing before the unit is returned.
