Our Elektrim Repair Process
- Incoming inspection. We record the nameplate data and the motor’s condition when it arrives.
- Testing. Ground testing, surge comparison and core loss testing identify winding and core problems.
- Teardown and failure analysis. We inspect bearings, shaft, rotor, stator and housings to find the cause of failure, not just the symptom.
- Written quote. You receive a repair quote, and a replacement quote when a new Elektrim motor or equivalent makes more sense.
- Repair. Rewinding, bearing replacement, shaft and housing machining, and brake work as required.
- Balancing and final testing before the motor is returned.
